Martin Denberg has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Martin is currently working as a Scientist at Bavarian Nordic since 2023. Before that, they were a Chief Consultant at HOFOR from 2021 to 2023, where they served as the Head of the committee for materials in contact with drinking water. Martin was also a member of the DK-VAND certification committee for drinking water pipes and participated in a project co-financed by the Environmental Technology Development and a Demonstration Program.
From 2012 to 2021, Martin worked at Coloplast as a Senior R&D Scientist, responsible for material characterization in the laboratory. Prior to that, they worked as a Production Engineer/Professional at Novozymes from 2011 to 2012.
Martin also has experience as a Freelance Consultant from 2010 to 2012, and as a Post.Doc. at DTU Environment in 2010. Martin completed their PhD at the Technical University of Denmark in 2009, where they worked as a PhD student from 2005 to 2009. Martin also did project work in relevance to their Ph.D. project at Bodycote in 2006 and completed their graduate project at Risø DTU in 2004. Martin started their career with a bachelor project at Novozymes in 2002.
Martin Denberg completed their Upper Secondary School Leaving Examination from Roskilde Technical College between 1995 and 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, graduating with an M.Sc.Eng. degree in 2005.
