Virginia Fitt is an accomplished legal professional with a focus on compliance and corporate law in the biopharmaceutical sector. Currently serving as the Head of Legal and Compliance for North America at Bavarian Nordic, Virginia oversees legal and compliance matters for multiple vaccine products in the U.S. and Canada. Previous roles include General Counsel at ChemoCentryx during its acquisition by Amgen, as well as key legal positions at Alexion Pharmaceuticals and GSK, where responsibilities encompassed commercial law, compliance program establishment, and strategic legal counsel for high-revenue products. Virginia's extensive experience is supported by a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and a B.A. in Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
