Barbara Groh

Barbara Groh is an experienced professional in quality systems and compliance, currently serving as the Head of External Plasma Quality Systems and Compliance at Takeda since January 2019, and previously as Assoc. Director Product & Material Release, Qualified Person. With extensive experience at Baxalta, which is now part of Shire, Barbara held the position of Manager Product and Material Release, Qualified Person from 2015. Barbara's background includes roles at Baxter International Inc., where responsibilities ranged from Manager to Supervisor in product release, QA audits, and regulatory compliance from 1998 to 2014. Additionally, Barbara completed postgraduate studies in Quality Management at Donau-Universität Krems and in Qualified Person studies at the University of Vienna, contributing a strong academic foundation to a career that began with a study of Anthropology and Human Biology.
