Simone Diorio is a seasoned quality management executive with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving as the Vice President of Quality Medical Products and Therapies at Baxter International Inc. since August 2008. With a comprehensive background in quality oversight across multiple global manufacturing sites, Simone leads initiatives in standardization and product development, collaborates with research and development teams, and manages a significant workforce of 1700 staff. Previous roles include Vice President positions in Quality across different regions and sectors, including renal and Americas operations, as well as key leadership in quality strategies following acquisitions. Prior to Baxter, Simone held various roles at Janssen, Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson and Johnson, where responsibilities included strategic direction for quality systems and managing compliance efforts. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Rome, "La Sapienza."
