Alesia Hsiao, AICP, currently serves as the Principal Environmental Planner at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District since April 2020, previously holding the position of Senior Environmental Planner. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Planner for the City and County of San Francisco from April 2017 to April 2020, and as Diversity Chair for the American Planning Association - Orange Section from January 2016 to March 2017. Additionally, Alesia worked as an Environmental/Planning Associate at Michael Baker International from June 2013 to March 2017, and held planning roles at the City of Diamond Bar, County of Orange, and Planetizen. Alesia's educational background includes a BA in Psychology and Social Behavior and Criminology, Law and Society from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and UC Irvine, along with participation in the University of California Education Abroad Program at the University of Birmingham.
