Kevin G. Ruano Hernandez

Kevin G. Ruano Hernandez is an experienced environmental professional currently serving as an Air Quality Monitor Technician & Analyst at PSE Healthy Energy since August 2023. Previously, Kevin held various roles including Community Advisory Councilmember for the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, where responsibilities included advising on community air quality matters and representing youth interests. Kevin has also participated in the AB 617 Richmond/San Pablo Community Emission Reduction Plan Steering Committee and worked as a Junior Environmental Engineer at Ramboll, focusing on emissions estimation and air pollution modeling. Academic endeavors include pursuing an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Environmental Engineering and Science at Contra Costa College and ongoing studies at USC Viterbi School of Engineering, complemented by hands-on experiences such as a Richmond Organizer Intern at Communities for a Better Environment and various research and internship roles related to public health and environmental justice.
