Delores Moore

Delores Moore is currently a student at the Youth Mental Health Academy through the Child Mind Institute, engaged in a hands-on learning program focused on mental health science and communication. Delores actively participates in various organizations, including the Black Youth Advisory Board at the Bay Area Community Health Advisory Council, where efforts are made to support black culture and youth well-being. As a member of Heart 2 Heart Peer Allies at Sacred Heart Schools, Delores has taken on leadership roles to promote mental health awareness and a sense of belonging within the school community. Additionally, Delores has held leadership positions in the Social Unity Rooted in Justice program and the Black Student Union, fostering inclusivity and empowerment among peers. Involvement with SafeSpace as a Youth Action Board member and as a Youth Health Ambassador with StarVista has further strengthened Delores's commitment to mental health advocacy. Delores served as a Teaching Fellow for Sophie’s Scholars, supporting students from low socio-economic backgrounds in their educational journey. Currently enrolled at Sacred Heart Schools, Delores is set to graduate in 2025.
