Nusrat Khaleeli

Nusrat Khaleeli currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Bay Area Older Adults, overseeing the Healthy Living™ Program and handling various legal and operational aspects, with a robust background in both for-profit and non-profit management, as well as practicing intellectual property law. With over 20 years of experience, Nusrat founded Khala Consultants, focusing on domestic and international patent applications and providing strategic legal advice. Previous roles include serving as an adjunct instructor at UCSC Extension, a patent prosecution consultant for NovaBay Pharmaceuticals, and various positions at prestigious law firms. Nusrat holds a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law, a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Oberlin College.
