Scott Sherrill is an experienced Production Specialist at Bay News 9 since April 2003, primarily serving as the Morning Editor for the station’s Morning Show while also taking on roles as a fill-in Audio and Master Control Operator. Previous experience includes serving as a Director at WUSF-TV's Florida, where Scott utilized the Grass Valley 200 Switcher for daily news breaks and worked with the Trinity Graphic Generator. At WUSF's Spectrum, Scott produced and edited a 30-minute informational show on WUSF Channel 16, employing the Media 100 digital non-linear editing system. Scott's early career includes a role as an Intercommunication Electrician Second Class Petty Officer in the US Navy, where responsibilities included maintaining telecommunications systems and training personnel. Scott holds a B.A. in Mass Communications with a focus on Telecommunications Production and Programming from the University of South Florida and an Associate of Arts degree from St. Petersburg College.
