Nishant Rao

Nishant Rao has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as Sr. Director of Software Engineering at Baya Systems since September 2023. Previously, they worked at Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer from September 2018 to September 2023. Before that, they were a Member of Technical Staff at NetSpeed Systems from February 2015 to September 2018. Nishant also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2014 to December 2014, where they assisted with teaching and grading for a graduate-level computer architecture course. Nishant also had a Graduate Technical Internship at Intel Corporation from May 2014 to August 2014, where they worked on design flows and validation for Intel products. Their earliest experience was as a Research Intern at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from May 2012 to July 2012.

Nishant Rao earned a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (VJTI) from 2009 to 2013. Nishant later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2014.
