Jihad Turk is the Founding President of Bayan Islamic Graduate School, a division of Chicago Theological Seminary, where since July 2011, Jihad has been dedicated to the education of Muslim-American religious leaders through accredited Master's and Doctoral programs. Prior to this role, Jihad served as the Religious Director at the Islamic Center of Southern California from April 2003 to July 2012, overseeing religious services, youth programs, and interfaith representation. Additionally, Jihad was the Religious Director at the University of Southern California, advising the Muslim student community from October 2006 to May 2012. Jihad's early career included a summer internship at the Muslim Public Affairs Council in 1993, focused on organizing educational seminars. Jihad holds a Doctor of Education degree from USC Rossier School of Education and advanced degrees in Islamic Jurisprudence and History from The University of Texas at Austin and the University of California, Berkeley.
