Arash Malekzadeh

Arash Malekzadeh is an experienced media professional with expertise in post-production and video production. Currently serving as Post Production Manager at BAYCAT since July 2021, Arash previously held the role of Video Producer/Editor at the same company from January 2020 to 2021. Prior freelance work included projects in the Bay Area, focusing on commercial and documentary productions. Notable achievements include directing, producing, and editing the sensitive documentary "A Dance with Death: The Final Days of Kelly Johnson" for The New Fillmore x KQED. Arash's background also features a position as Video Producer at KQED and extensive apprenticeship experience at Reza & Co. Arash holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Race and Resistance Studies from San Francisco State University, completed in 2017.
