Iwer Baecker is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Launch & Pipeline Portfolio EMEA at Bayer since September 2011, Iwer has held multiple key roles including VP of Therapeutic Area Head CardioRenal and Business Unit Head for General Medicine & Women's Healthcare. Iwer has also been the Managing Director of Bayer Ireland Ltd. and has expertise in business development with a focus on portfolio management, in- and out-licensing, as well as acquisitions and divestments across various healthcare products. As the owner and Managing Director of Si4Health GmbH since January 2003, Iwer showcases entrepreneurial leadership. Previous experience includes serving as President of the German-Irish Chamber of Industry and Commerce and as a Global Project Manager at Bayer Innovation GmbH. Iwer began a career in consulting at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young and holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Regensburg.
