Jürgen Michels

Jürgen Michels began their work experience in 1997 as an Economist at Sal. Oppenheim. Jürgen then moved on to work at Citigroup in 2002, where they held the role of Managing Director until 2013. In 2013, Michels joined BayernLB as Managing Director, Chief Economist & Head of Research, where they continue to work currently.

Jürgen Michels completed their education at various institutions. From 1998 to 2002, they pursued their doctoral degree in Economics at Goethe University Frankfurt. Prior to that, they obtained a Diplom degree in Volkswirt from The University of Bonn, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. Michels also attended TMG Daun from 1983 to 1992, though it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study at this institution.
