Andreas Kahl is an experienced software developer and librarian with a strong background in library technology. Since 2010, Kahl has worked at Bayerische Staatsbibliothek, focusing on developing search engine modules using Python and creating web applications and plugins for the OPAC with Java, JSP, and JavaScript, as well as administering the FAST-cluster. Prior to this role, Kahl completed a traineeship at the Berlin State Library and worked as a software developer at Bavarian State Library. Kahl holds a Master's degree in Modern History and Computational Linguistics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
