Igor Kruiper

Igor Kruiper is an experienced software engineer and architect with a diverse background in various companies and industries. Igor started their career at Kainos Software Limited, where they worked as a software developer for 2 years, gaining experience in Java, ColdFusion, C++, VB, SQL Server, and Oracle.

Following their time at Kainos, Igor joined ICTS Europe as a software engineer, where they were responsible for integrating technology and know-how into security solutions in European airports. Igor worked as the only software developer in the Amsterdam headquarters for 2 years.

After ICTS Europe, Igor joined HBOS as a senior software developer and later as a solutions architect. Igor primarily used Microsoft technologies such as .NET, C#, and ASP.

Igor then moved to CyberSource, where they played a key role in the establishment of the CyberSource Product Development center in Belfast. Igor developed expertise in crypto and secured connectivity within the payment acceptance and payment security domains.

Next, Igor joined Bitnet Technologies Ltd. as a crypto solutions architect, where they led the blockchain squad and designed the Bitcoin-related services for the platform. Igor also focused on security and the configuration of AWS Cloud HSMs.

After Bitnet, Igor joined PwC UK as a principal software engineer, working as a technical architect and principal engineer within the digital delivery team. Igor led engagements with worldwide clients, building proof of concepts and prototypes using blockchain technology.

Currently, Igor is working at Bazaarvoice as a senior principal engineer. Igor is a member of the CTO office and focuses on architecture modernization, engineering excellence, and standards.

Throughout their career, Igor has demonstrated expertise in various technologies, including Java, RabbitMQ, Docker, Netflix OSS, REST, PostgreSQL, and AWS. Igor has also gained experience in blockchain technologies such as Multichain, Ethereum, Monax, and Hyperledger Fabric.

Igor Kruiper obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Sciences from the Université de Rennes I, completing their education from 1995 to 2000. In addition, they obtained the CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation in December 2019.
