Kevin Skinner has a diverse background in product design and strategy. Kevin is currently the Director of Product Design Strategy at Bazaarvoice, where they work closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineering leads to simplify and consolidate product functionality. Prior to this, they served as a Product Experience Strategist at Bazaarvoice, defining and driving the product vision and strategy for the client experience.
Before joining Bazaarvoice, Kevin worked at General Motors as a Senior Experience Strategist, leading the strategy and development of the Application Design System. Kevin also championed the User-Centered Design Process and created experiences that improved brand loyalty.
Kevin's experience also includes serving as a Product Experience Strategist at Bridgestone Americas, where they led the redesign of the online ordering experience for B2B customers. Kevin was responsible for providing the product vision, development roadmap, and serving as the user advocate.
Prior to Bridgestone, Kevin was the Head of Product and Experience Design at NowLive, overseeing product development for a live streaming startup. Kevin also worked as a Creative Director at MGM and as an Associate Creative Director at The Walt Disney Company.
Earlier in their career, Kevin held roles such as Senior Artist at NBC/Universal and Design & Usability Consultant for Firestone Building Products. Kevin also worked as a Senior Multimedia Designer at imc2 and as a Lead Web Designer for B2B Ecommerce at Bridgestone.
Throughout their career, Kevin has demonstrated a strong ability to lead and drive product strategy, enhance user experiences, and deliver results.
Kevin Skinner attended Full Sail University from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
