Midhun Madhusoodanan

Midhun Madhusoodanan has a diverse work experience in software engineering and scientific software development. Midhun is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Bazaarvoice. Previously, they worked at Box as a Software Engineer, Backend, where they built large-scale distributed database systems and micro-services with Scala/Java and Kubernetes. Before that, they worked at Enthought as a Scientific Software Developer, where they developed algorithms and data pipelines for image processing and machine learning using Python and libraries like SciPy, NumPy, and Keras. Midhun also has experience as a Software Engineer Intern at AdviNOW Medical, where they worked on the development of a machine learning system and optimized algorithms for analyzing large data sets. Midhun has also worked as a Graduate Student Researcher at Arizona State University, where they conducted research on sequential decision-making algorithms for robotics and developed a python framework for experimentation. In addition, Midhun has worked at Zynga as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in full stack mobile development, and at Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer, where they worked on natural language understanding and machine learning algorithms. Midhun started their career as a Software Development Intern at Analyttica Datalab Pvt. Ltd., where they gained experience in software architecture, design patterns, and web development.

Midhun Madhusoodanan pursued their education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. Midhun earned their Bachelor's Degree from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, during the period of 2010 to 2014. Later, they enrolled at Arizona State University and completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from 2017 to 2019.
