Hugh Seaton

Hugh Seaton, CDT, CCS is the CEO of The Link since January 2022, where he focuses on converting construction specifications into structured data. He also serves as an Associate Principal at BBI - Big Blue Innovations and as the Host of Constructed Futures podcast. Previously, he served as the Marketing Director and General Manager at Construction Specifications Institute and Cimatri, where he significantly increased sales and led the development of new products. With a background in virtual and augmented reality, Hugh has also worked as the General Manager at The Glimpse Group. Additionally, he has experience in education as a Construction Technology Advisor at UConn Werth Institute and as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at Sacred Heart University. Hugh holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, as well as a B.A. in Sociology from Miami University.
