Alfredo Lara has extensive work experience in various HR roles. Alfredo began their career in 2002 as an HR Manager at Mabe, where they were responsible for labor relations, recruitment, training, compensation, and occupational safety. In 2007, they joined Degrémont as an HR Director, overseeing HR functions in Mexico, Panama, and Costa Rica. Alfredo then moved on to Santander Bank, N.A. in 2011 as the Director of Compensations, where they focused on productivity improvement and HR policy development. In 2015, Alfredo joined HSBC as the Head of Performance & Rewards for LATAM, managing total rewards and performance management. Alfredo later worked at BBVA Bancomer as the Director of Compensations, Pensions, and Medical Services. Currently, Alfredo is with BBVA en Perú, serving as the Head of Employee Value Proposition, Compensation & Benefits, Employee Administration and Financial Services, and Health & Safety, as well as the Head of Compensation & Benefits, Data & Analytics, Talent Management, and Talent Acquisition.
Alfredo Lara completed their degree in Business Administration at Universidad Anáhuac del Sur, A.C. from 1999 to 2002. In 2006 and 2007, they obtained a Diploma in Development of Management Skills from EDC Consilting Group. Furthermore, in 2013 and 2014, they pursued a Diplomado in Integral Talent Management at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
