Carlos Enrique Vargas Rodriguez

Carlos Enrique Vargas Rodriguez is a seasoned banking professional with over 25 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking. Since September 2007, Carlos has served as Managing Director and Head of Commercial Banking for the Metropolitan Division at BBVA, overseeing a team of 110 and managing a profit division of US$250 million. Previously, Carlos held senior roles at Banco Santander Mexico, including Treasury Products Director and Business Development Director, and gained foundational experience at Banco de Venezuela and BANCO FIVENEZ. Carlos holds a Master in Business Administration with a major in Finance and has pursued advanced studies in leadership and business management at renowned institutions such as IPADE Business School and Universidad Tecmilenio.
