Ana López García-Romeu

Ana López García-Romeu is a data scientist with extensive experience in applying advanced data techniques at BBVA AI Factory since February 2020, focusing on Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, and machine learning to enhance client interaction and automate claims processing. Prior experience at Minsait involved detecting fake news using NLP and contributing to smart city initiatives in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Ana's educational background includes a double degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with further studies at Universitat de Barcelona and Utrecht University. Additionally, teaching and various internships prior to 2018 provided foundational skills in mathematics and data processing.
