Senior VICE President - Global Infrastructure | Communications & Technology Operations at BCD Travel

Emily Allen, MBA has significant experience in the field of IT infrastructure and operations. Emily started their career as a Computer Technician at UPS and was later promoted to the role of Information Systems Manager III at McKesson Health IT.

Emily then joined BCD Travel, where they held various positions of increasing responsibility. As the Director of Systems Support, they consolidated local technical teams and contributed to the establishment of a Network Operations Center (NOC). Emily later became the Vice President of IT Infrastructure and Operations for the Americas and Asia Pacific regions, where they standardized processes and technologies and served as a Senior Technology Lead for ISO certification projects.

Emily was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Global IT Infrastructure, overseeing the expansion into APAC and Latin America and the establishment of data center facilities in Brazil and Singapore. In their most recent role as the Senior Vice President of Global Infrastructure, Communications, and Technology Operations, they spearheaded strategic plans and roadmaps for global IT infrastructure services, implemented a global IT infrastructure roadmap, and established a Technology Business Management function.

Overall, Emily Allen has demonstrated the ability to lead global teams, drive efficiency and productivity, and contribute to the bottom line through strategic planning and execution.

Emily Allen, MBA, holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Harvard University. Emily also participated in a Study Abroad program at Columbia University in Paris during their Junior Fall Term. In addition to their formal education, Emily has obtained several certifications, including "An Overview to Strategic Marketing" from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, "Design Thinking: The Beginner's Guide" from The Interaction Design Foundation, "Get Your Product Used: Adoption and Appropriation" from The Interaction Design Foundation, "Membership Certificate" from The Interaction Design Foundation, and "User Experience: The Beginner’s Guide" from The Interaction Design Foundation.
