Dr. Sezcov I. Rivera Santana, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of mental health. Starting in 2017, they worked as an Assessment and Referral Coordinator at Strategic Behavioral Health, where they screened and assessed patients for mental and substance abuse disorders. In the same year, they also served as a School Psychologist at Rocketship Public Schools, conducting psycho-educational and behavior assessments, attending IEP meetings, and providing counseling services.

In 2018, Dr. Rivera Santana held multiple positions, including working as a School Counselor at Alum Rock School District, providing counseling and support to students and their families. Dr. Sezcov I. Rivera Santana, Ph.D. has an extensive education history in the field of psychology. In 2007, they completed their Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology at the Universidad de Puerto Rico. They then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources at the Universidad Metropolitana in 2009. Following this, in 2013, they obtained a Master of Psychology in Counseling Psychology from the Universidad del Turabo. Dr. Rivera Santana continued their academic journey and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from Universidad Albizu in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Rivera Santana also pursued several certifications. They obtained a license as a Licensed Psychologist from the Puerto Rico Department of Health in December 2013. Although the obtained month and year are not provided for other certifications, they have obtained a National Certified Counselor (NCC) certification from The National Board for Certified Counselors, a Licensed Educational Psychologist certification from the California Department of Consumer Affairs, and a School Psychologist certification from The Florida Department of Education. Additionally, Dr. Rivera Santana has pursued further education in various areas. They obtained a certification as a Maternity and Preschool Care Center Administrator from the University of Puerto Rico-Bayamon, a Master’s Degree in Pedagogy and Clinical Psycho-Pedagogy from ESNECA Business School, a Master’s Degree in Coaching and in Children and Youth Emotional Intelligence from ESNECA Business School, and a Master's degree in Interventions for Pathological gambling from ESNECA Business School. They also completed a program in Corporal Massage from the World Training Academy in 2006.
