Tony Dong

Tony Dong has a work experience spanning over 15 years. Tony is currently a Sr. Programmer & Configuration Analyst at BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA) since November 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Programmer/Analyst at the Ministry of Finance from October 2011 to November 2019.

Before joining the Ministry of Finance, Tony was a Team Leader at Guide Productions from June 2010 to October 2011, where they led a team of senior developers in designing the Health Circle Web application. Tony also performed project performance tuning, achieving a 1/3 performance improvement.

Tony Dong was a Senior Web Developer at Spot Solutions from October 2006 to June 2010. During this time, they led the development of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic game Inventory Management web site and E-Payments system.

Additionally, Tony worked as a Senior Software Engineer at TRADER Corporation from January 2006 to August 2006, where they used ASP.NET and SQL Server for performance tuning of a buy and sell website.

Tony'searliest known position was as a Software Developer Engineer at Microsoft Corp. in 2005.

Tony Dong attended Beijing University of Technology from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in integrated circuit. Tony then pursued further education at The University of British Columbia from 1998 to 2000, with a focus on Multimedia Design and Web Development.
