Diego Favela

Diego Favela is an incoming Quantitative Analyst at Balyasny Asset Management L.P., starting in May 2024. Currently, Diego serves as a Tech Portfolio Manager, Energy Analyst, and Tech Analyst at the BCG Undergraduate Investment Fund since August 2023. Previous experience includes an LNG Intern position at New Fortress Energy from June 2024 to August 2024, and serving as an AI Engineer for Mathematics at Outlier from February 2024 to July 2024. Diego also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Structures & Artificial Intelligence Lab at the University of Houston from November 2023 to May 2024. Diego holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Houston and a Financial Technology Certificate from the University of California, Berkeley.
