Ashkan Afhkami

Ashkan Afhkami is the DV Managing Director & Partner, New York Center Lead at BCG Digital Ventures. Ashkan previously worked as the CEO and co-founder of elovee, a dating app startup. Prior to that, they were the Head of Business Development & Operations at Fern Health, a digital health startup. Ashkan has also worked at Pumpkin Petcare, D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, and BCG Digital Ventures. Ashkan has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and an MBA from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business.

Afhkami attended Northeastern University, where they received their Bachelor in Business Administration. Their field of study was Management Information Systems and Finance, and they also minored in Technological Entrepreneurship. Ashkan then went on to attend the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University, where they received their Masters in Innovation (Technology & Entrepreneurship). Afhkami is currently enrolled in an Executive Program in conjunction with the Harvard Kennedy School and the MIT Sloan School of Management.

Ashkan Afhkami reports to Beth Viner, DV Managing Director & Partner, North America Regional Lead. They work with Gunnar Trommer - DV Managing Director & Partner, Los Angeles Center Lead, Jeff Ahlquist - DV Managing Director & Partner, Chicago Center Lead.
