Joel Bland

Joel Bland is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and information management, primarily in the legal and consulting sectors. Currently serving as Strategic Accelerator Senior Project Manager and Research Team Manager at Boston Consulting Group since January 2016, Joel has held various roles including Senior Researcher and Research Lead. Concurrently, involvement as a Reference Librarian at Special Counsel Information Governance began in May 2015. Previous experience includes serving as Information Resources Manager at Latham & Watkins, conducting comprehensive legal research, and managing records and litigation services. Other noteworthy roles include freelance writing for National Public Radio and positions focused on financial and industry research in banking and telecommunications. Joel holds an MS in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in English from James Madison University.
