John L.

John L. has a diverse work experience in the finance and corporate development sectors. John started their career as an Investment Banking Student Analyst at FirstEnergy Capital Corp. in 2012, where they gained valuable knowledge and skills. John then worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at the same company from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, John joined Shaw Communications as an Analyst in Corporate Development and later got promoted to the role of Associate. During their time at Shaw Communications, they also worked as a Leadership Development Intern at American Tower in 2019. From 2020 to 2022, John served as the Director of Corporate Development & Strategy at Shaw Communications. Most recently, they joined BCI as a Senior Principal in Private Equity in 2022. Overall, John L. has demonstrated their expertise and growth in various roles, making him a valuable asset to any organization.

John L. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Alberta. In addition, they have obtained the CFA Charterholder certification from the CFA Institute in 2016, and is currently pursuing a Certificate in ESG Investing from the same institution, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
