Abu Bakar Yasin

Abu Bakar Yasin is a journalist currently employed by BBC since June 2024 and is also a mentee in the 23/24 Bcoms North Cohort, gaining insights from industry experts since September 2023. Additionally, Abu Bakar has been a sports writer for Breaking The Lines since March 2021, and previously worked as a buffet waiter at Off to Work from June 2021 to January 2022. Earlier experience includes serving as a team leader at Aston Villa Football Club from December 2017 to June 2018. Abu Bakar holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Leicester and has also pursued studies in Marketing and Related Support Services at Universidad Loyola.
