Arib Dauhoo

Arib Dauhoo is an emerging talent in the field of journalism and broadcasting, currently a student at the University of Oklahoma, pursuing a study abroad program in Broadcast Journalism, with an anticipated graduation in May 2025. Since September 2020, Arib has been working as a journalist for The Indiependent and has gained diverse experience through roles such as an intern at BCOMS and a runner with Sunset+Vine in July 2024, where duties included supporting live TV production. Previous work placements include an opportunity at Sky News, which provided insight into newsroom operations and content production. Arib has also hosted and produced a podcast titled 'attention seekers' at Forge Radio and worked as a journalist with ShefLive, focusing on stories in the Sheffield area. Arib’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Sheffield, expected to be completed in August 2026, following attendance at Sutton Grammar School from 2015 to 2023.
