Lisa Takeuchi

Lisa Takeuchi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In their current role as Director of Corporate Operations at BCS, LLC since July 2022, they provide contract administration and accounting support, as well as managing the Operations team. Prior to this, they served as a Senior Contract Specialist at the same company from January 2022 to June 2022, and as a Contracts Specialist from June 2017 to January 2022, where they focused on contract administration, accounting, and preparing various agreements.

Before joining BCS, LLC, Lisa worked at Maryland Energy and Sensor Technologies, LLC from June 2009 to June 2017 as a Business Manager. Their responsibilities included day-to-day operations, bookkeeping, payroll processing, budget management, and handling tax documents.

Lisa also contributed to their community as the PTA President at Hammond Elementary from August 2010 to June 2012, where they presided over meetings, developed agendas, managed volunteers, and participated in budget meetings. Prior to this, they served as the PTA Vice President at the same school from October 2008 to June 2009, where they provided support at events, managed membership, and conducted membership drives.

In addition, Lisa gained experience as a Teacher at College Park Nursery School & Kindergarten from August 2007 to August 2008, where they managed and led a classroom of 4-year-olds, creating engaging lesson plans.

Earlier in their career, Lisa worked as a Research Coordinator at UMD - Materials Research Science & Engineering Center from August 2000 to August 2001, handling business and accounting matters for an NSF-funded center. Lisa also served as an Executive Assistant at Law & Economics Consulting Group from February 1997 to July 1999, where they assisted with casework, provided administrative support to executives, and managed scheduling and travel arrangements.

Through their various roles, Lisa has developed strong skills in contract administration, accounting, team management, budgeting, and volunteer coordination.

Lisa Takeuchi attended the University of Maryland from 1989 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching.
