Lars Bebensee

Lars Bebensee has a strong background in system engineering and storage solutions. Lars started their career in 1999 as a Systems Engineer at Haitec AG, where they were responsible for administering UNIX systems and implementing backup solutions. Lars then joined EMC Computer Systems South Africa (Pty) Ltd., where they served as an Implementation Specialist, creating and implementing storage solutions for customers. Lars then worked at Liberty Group South Africa as a Senior Systems Engineer, focusing on storage implementations and providing operational support. Currently, Lars is working as a Principal System Engineer at Business Connexion, performing health checks and storage environment analysis, and providing integration implementation and operations support. Throughout their career, Lars has demonstrated expertise in storage provisioning, performance tuning, scripting for task automation, and addressing compatibility issues.

Lars Bebensee obtained a Diploma in Networking and Telecommunication Techniques from sdg Darmstadt in 1998-1999. Lars also holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in African Studies from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, which they completed from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, Lars has obtained several certifications in various technology fields from institutions such as Dell EMC, Pearson VUE, Prometric, and IBM, dating from 2001 to 2016.
