Nishedi Fernando

Nishedi Fernando is a skilled professional with extensive experience in audit and client management within the accounting sector. Currently serving as Manager at BDO in Sri Lanka & Maldives since August 2022, Nishedi oversees a portfolio of clients, ensuring effective day-to-day management and fostering strong client relationships. Previously, Nishedi held the position of Audit Supervisor at BDO, where responsibilities included supervising daily fieldwork and ensuring timely audit completions. Prior experience also includes the role of Audit Associate at PwC Sri Lanka, focusing on business operations and financial reporting, and starting as an Audit Trainee at EY. Nishedi holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and the University of Kelaniya, along with a diploma from AAT Sri Lanka.
