Kristin Atkinson

Kristin Atkinson, CPA, currently serves as a Tax Senior Manager at BDO USA, a position held since January 2013, with prior experience as a Tax Manager within the same firm. Before joining BDO USA, Kristin worked as a Tax Accountant at Cherry, Bekaert & Holland, L.L.P. from August 2011 to June 2012, where responsibilities included preparing various federal and state income tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals. Earlier roles included internships focused on federal and state tax preparation and community outreach associated with the VITA program. Kristin's professional background also includes experience in real estate as a Broker Associate for Re/Max Home Connections and Choice Jacksonville Realty. Academic qualifications include a Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina – Moore School of Business, a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina-Beaufort, and an Associate of Arts from Coastal Carolina Community College.
