Lesley Whyte

Lesley Whyte is an accomplished professional in library and information services, serving as the Managing Director and one of the founding directors of BDS since February 1995, where responsibility includes sales, human resources, and customer service while focusing on the provision of quality cataloguing information for libraries. Prior experience includes the role of Bibliographic Services Manager at T C Farries & Co Limited from September 1987 to December 1994, where Lesley established the delivery of bibliographic data and confirmed catalogue records for libraries. Earlier career experience includes serving as Head of Technical Services at King's College London from August 1983 to August 1987, overseeing cataloguing and classification activities for a diverse library collection. Lesley holds a PG Diploma in Library and Information Studies from UCL (1981-1982) and a BA Hons in English Studies from the University of Stirling (1976-1980).
