Darius Swain

Darius Swain has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Darius started their career at KPMG US in 2015 as an IT Advisory Associate, where they evaluated the design and effectiveness of information technology controls. In 2017, they joined Delta Air Lines as a Cyber Security Engineer, performing static code scans and assessing security controls.

In 2018, Darius moved to PwC as a Senior Associate, managing a team and conducting penetration testing for an international client. Darius also performed code-level auditing for mobile and web applications and assisted in identifying vulnerabilities. Darius continued their role at PwC as a Cyber - Experienced Associate until 2019, performing static code analysis and web application security assessments.

In 2019, Darius co-founded Beach Box Safe, Inc, where they served as the CIO. And in 2021, they joined Bishop Fox as a Senior Application Penetration Testing Consultant, specializing in web and mobile applications.

Overall, Darius Swain has gained extensive experience in conducting penetration testing, code auditing, security assessments, and evaluating information technology controls throughout their career.

Darius Swain completed their education at the University of North Georgia from 2009 to 2013, earning an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Psychology. Darius then pursued further education at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Management Information Systems from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Darius has obtained several certifications. In 2018, they became an AWS Certified Developer - Associate through Amazon Web Services. Subsequently, in 2019, they earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Darius further expanded their skill set by achieving the GIAC Web Application Penetration Tester (GWAPT) certification from GIAC Certifications in February 2020. Darius later completed the Python for Data Science certification offered by IBM in July 2020.

Continuing their professional development, Darius obtained the Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) certification from Offensive Security in September 2021 and the Android Userland Fuzzing and Exploitation certification from Black Hat in August 2021. Additionally, they achieved the GIAC Mobile Device Security Analyst (GMOB) certification from GIAC Certifications in August 2022. Darius's commitment to staying current and expanding their expertise led him to obtain the GIAC Certified Web Application Defender (GWEB) certification from GIAC Certifications in April 2023.
