Katherine Melton

Katherine Melton possesses a diverse background in childcare, education, and research. Currently serving as a Summer Camp Counselor at BeachSports since April 2020, Katherine has effectively addressed concerns of campers and their parents while providing support in various day-to-day tasks. Experience includes roles as a Child Care Specialist for the Luggeri Family, where attentive care was provided to young children, and as a Social and Emotional Learning Teacher/Director and Preschool Teacher, focusing on classroom management and instructional strategies. Katherine also completed a Research Assistant Internship at Washington State University, contributing to projects on conflict behavior, and held positions in administrative support at LJR & Associates. Katherine earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from Washington State University Vancouver and a TEFL/TESOL certification from the International TEFL Academy.
