Angie King

Angie King has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Angie started their career in 2004 as a social worker at River Oaks Hospital, where they provided individual, family, and group therapy. Angie then worked at the Mental Health Association of St. Tammany as a board member from 2007 to 2011. From 2007 to 2015, Angie was a community liaison at Medical Management Options, where they offered free screenings and helped individuals access mental health services. In 2007, they also started working at Covington Behavioral Health Hospital in business development, a role they held until 2019. In 2012, they became an independent distributor for AdvoCare, assisting individuals in improving their overall health using Advocare supplements. Additionally, Angie has been Vice Chair of the Board of Directors at Southeastern Louisiana University Collegiate Recovery Program since 2019. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Customer Relations at Beacon Behavioral Hospital.

Angie King holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Louisiana State University and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University.
