Brooks Melton

Brooks has been President & CEO of Beacon Community Bank since its inception, and he leads our bank with almost 30 years of expertise in regional, correspondent, and national banking. His previous experience at banks large and small inspired him to want to create a new kind of bank, with relationship banking as a top priority. Under Brooks’ stewardship, Beacon has achieved impressive growth and reached numerous industry benchmarks ahead of schedule. Outside of the bank, you’ll find Brooks spending time with his wife Jessica and three children. An avid boater, he has been a member of the Hobcaw Yacht Club for more than five years, holding leadership positions including Commodore.
