Ivey C. is currently serving as a Consumer Safety Officer at the FDA, specializing as a CMC Reviewer/Inspector in the CBER's Office of Compliance & Biologics Quality within the Division of Manufacturing & Product Quality since August 2024. Prior to this role, Ivey worked at Vertex Pharmaceuticals from September 2021 to August 2024 as an Operational Area Quality Senior Specialist, focusing on GMP quality operations for clinical therapies in the Type 1 Diabetes program. Experience also includes serving as an Operational Area Quality Specialist at Corcept Therapeutics from October 2019 to September 2021, managing audit programs for Phase I-III clinical trials, and a Medical Writing Intern position at Merck in May 2019. Ivey holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Boston College and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Biotechnology at Johns Hopkins University, expected to be completed in May 2025.
