David LaPlante

David LaPlante has worked in the technology industry since 1994. David started their career as a Software Engineer at Fidelity Investments, where they worked for 17 years. In 2011, they joined Beacon Interactive Systems as an Enterprise Solutions Architect, eventually rising to the roles of Distinguished Engineer, CTO, and Senior Software Architect. In 2022, they began a new role as an AT Thru-Hiker.

David LaPlante attended Attleboro High School from 1973-1977, and then Northeastern University from 1979-1986, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.
