Michael McDermott

Michael McDermott has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and positions. Michael is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Beacon Occupational Health and Safety Services since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Finance Director at International SOS from 2019 to 2022, where they managed financial and strategic commercial objectives for the UK Clinic & Offshore business. From 2017 to 2019, they served as the Group FP&A Director and Finance Business Partner at Iqarus. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Group Business Controller at Pipeline Technique Ltd, Group Financial Controller at RentAir Offshore, Financial Controller/Controller at Electro-Motive Diesel, and Finance Manager/Cost Controller at Stolt Offshore/Acergy.

Michael McDermott attended Robert Gordon University from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance.
