Khalid Saleem

Khalid Saleem has extensive work experience in digital transformation and technology consulting roles. Khalid is currently the Vice President of IT - Digital Platforms at Beacon Building Products. Prior to that, they were an Advisory Board Member at Undocked and a Technology Advisor on the Board of Directors at AutoMato AI. Khalid also founded and served as the Principal and CEO of AZK Ventures LLC, where they provided digital transformation and technology consulting services. Khalid has held positions such as Chief Digital Officer at Wheel Pros, Chief Technology Officer at Vontier, and SVP and Chief Digital Officer at TBC Corporation. Khalid has a strong background in e-commerce and digital business platforms, having worked as the Vice President of E-Commerce and Digital Business Platforms at Office Depot, as well as various other roles within the company. Khalid holds a Software Engineer position as a Research Assistant at Florida International University early in their career.

Khalid Saleem obtained a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University in 2001-2003. Khalid then pursued a Masters degree in Computer Science from Florida International University in 2005-2006. Additionally, they were a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at Florida International University in 2006 but did not complete the program. In 2019, they attended Harvard Business School and earned an Executive Leadership Development Certificate in Leadership Excellence at Depot - Digital Transformation. Furthermore, Khalid Saleem obtained several certifications from LinkedIn and MITx on edX, including "Becoming an AI-First Product Leader," "Developing a Competitive Strategy," "IoT Foundations: Fundamentals," "IoT Foundations: Monetizing IoT," "IoT Foundations: Standards and Ecosystems," "Breaking Out of a Rut," "Leading and Working in Teams," "Leading with Innovation," "Unlock Your Team's Creativity," "Risk-Taking for Leaders," "Jeff Dyer on Innovation," and "Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning."
