Mica Pettibone

Lead Environment Artist at Beamdog

Mica Pettibone has a diverse work experience in the field of 3D art and environment design. They are currently employed at Beamdog as the Lead Environment Artist, where they have been working since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Associate Environment Art Lead at the same company from February 2022 to January 2023. Mica also worked as a 3D Generalist at Beamdog from November 2020 to March 2022.

Before joining Beamdog, Mica worked as a Freelance 3D Artist, Modeler, and Animator from April 2019 to November 2020. They gained additional experience as a student at the Edmonton Digital Arts College, where they studied from September 2018 to June 2019.

Early in their career, Mica worked as a Field Technician at the Antelope Creek Habitat Development Area from May 2016 to August 2016. In this role, they conducted vegetation assessments, data entry, and created scientific reports and maps using ArcGIS. They were also responsible for project planning, organization, equipment acquisition and maintenance, and coordination of involved parties.

Overall, Mica Pettibone has a strong background in 3D art and environment design, with experience in both professional and freelance settings.

Mica Pettibone pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental and Conservation Sciences from the University of Alberta, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. After completing their undergraduate studies, Mica then attended the Edmonton Digital Arts College from 2018 to 2019. During their time at the college, they specialized in 3D Modelling and Animation and obtained a Diploma in 3D Animation Production.
