Cisem Karaca

Cisem Karaca is a Senior Research Associate I in Cell Therapy Discovery (Immunology) at Beam Therapeutics, with previous experience at TScan Therapeutics as a Research Associate focusing on TCR discovery and preclinical development. Cisem contributed to the validation of TCRs for a discovery platform, gaining expertise in assay development and project management while assisting in the nomination of multiple IND candidates. Prior roles include an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at the Moore Lab, where research centered on neurobiology and intrinsic excitability, and various internships at Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Harvard Medical School. Cisem holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Neuroscience from Temple University.
