Kai Schmid

Kai Schmid is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IoT sales and fitness coaching. Currently serving as an Account Executive IoT at Device Insight GmbH since June 2021, Kai focuses on the sales of the IoT framework CENTERSIGHT. Concurrently, Kai works as a Fitness Coach at BEAT81, beginning in November 2021. Previously, from December 2018 to May 2021, Kai held the position of Enterprise Sales Executive IoT for Automotive OEMs at Siemens Digital Industries Software, where responsibilities included selling the cloud-based IoT platform "MindSphere" and the low-code development platform "Mendix" to automotive clients in Germany. Prior to Siemens, Kai spent over a decade at Telefónica Germany, progressing through roles such as Senior Account Manager IoT and Senior Product Manager, engaging in the development and marketing of telecommunications products. Educational qualifications include a Diplom in Business Administration from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München and an ERASMUS exchange in Business Administration from Università degli Studi di Padova.
