Ugur Samut

Ugur Samut is an experienced board member currently serving at Horizons, Meditopia, and BEAT81, with a tenure beginning in September 2023 and spanning from January 2018 and May 2017, respectively. Previously, Ugur co-founded and held the position of Chairman of the Board at Gorillas from April 2020 to December 2022. As CEO and Co-Founder of Medigo GmbH from March 2014 to June 2021, Ugur led the company during a significant growth phase. In earlier roles at Wimdu from May 2011 to February 2014, Ugur contributed as Head of Online Marketing, Global Head of SEO, and Country Managing Director for Wimdu Turkey. Ugur holds a Master of Science in International Marketing from Esade and has completed undergraduate studies at Sabanci University and Robert College.
