Montana Sawyer

Montana Sawyer has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. They started their career as an Engineering Research Assistant at the University of Victoria in 2012, followed by co-op positions as an Electrical Engineering Co-op Student at MEG Energy Corp. in 2014 and 2015. Montana then worked as an Account Manager at Sawyer & Sawyer Ltd. from 2011 to 2016. They transitioned into the technology industry, working as a Frontend Developer at Stocksy United from 2018 to 2019. Montana then joined Ingrooves Music Group as a Senior Software Developer from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, they joined Bench Accounting as a Software Engineer until 2022. Montana's most recent position is at Beatport, where they worked as a Software Engineer from 2022 to 2023 before being promoted to Lead Software Engineer. Additionally, they have also been working as a Freelance Web Developer at BlackLine Creative since 2017.

Montana Sawyer pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Victoria from 2011 to 2016. In 2017, they attended RED Academy to complete a short-term program in Full-Stack Development.
