Melissa Acker Lcsw

Melissa Acker, LCSW, is an accomplished Licensed Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience in mental health services. Currently serving at Beaumont Behavioral Health since February 2020, Melissa Acker also works as a Therapist at Stephens Behavior Consulting. Previously, Melissa Acker held the position of Assessment Clinician at UHS from May 2016 to April 2019 and practiced as a Therapist at Seven Counties Services from March 2011 to April 2015, where responsibilities included conducting various assessments and providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Earlier roles included Social Worker/Assessor, performing assessments for the Michelle P Waiver program, and Social Worker at Our Lady of Peace, focusing on group therapy for youth in an intensive outpatient setting. Melissa Acker earned a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Georgetown College.
